Unlocking Radiance: Our Ultimate Skincare Secrets

Unlocking Radiance: Our Ultimate Skincare Secrets - Aurganics

“Twice a day every day since I was nineteen” I announce it to all my friends, family, literally anyone that will listen, like some sort of victory speech. My skin, the championship ring. As I get closer to the end of my 20s, I can’t help but appreciate the younger me. She took the time to care for and nurture this skin that I live in. Bless her. She knew. She knew that good skin is priceless. She knew that to get those, “You look way younger than that” response, she had to treat her skin better than gold. Here at Auganics, we work hard to bring you the best in organic skincare for melanin-rich sensitive skin because your skin is worth more than gold.

Now since I am almost a decade into my skincare routine, I have learned what steps I have to take to ensure my sensitive melanin skin stays looking glossy and dewy. I have some things to say about how to treat your skin.

First, you have to calm the skin. “Calm the skin?”. Yeah, like soothing it. Inflamed skin hurts. It's dry, patchy, and ugly. You’ve probably had it before, those little dry patches around your nose. It’s common with acne, eczema, and sensitive skin. It can make the skin appear more red than it is. So soothing the skin is the first step.

Secondly, we have to work on evening your skin tone. Once you have reduced the inflammation, focus on reducing the dark spots on your skin. Dark spots are discoloration on your skin after a pimple or bite. We have to attack those little dark spots and prevent new ones from appearing. Even skin tone helps the skin look bright, smooth, and radiant. It can take years away from your skin and make it look and feel glossy like liquid gold.

And finally, make sure to use organic natural ingredients. Yes, I know those chemical peels make your skin look shiny and new, but they remove layers of your skin. Leaving it extra vulnerable. I’ve done those harsh face washes and masks, and though they are fine to use once in a while they shouldn’t be used on a daily basis. With Auganics, we focus on only using natural ingredients that help nurture your skin. No chemicals or fragrances were added. Other brands that use chemicals or fragrances in their products put you at risk of further harming your skin's natural barrier.

Here at Auganics, we have developed a formula that will help soothe inflamed skin while at the same time preventing and reducing dark spots. With the use of alpha arbutin, kojic acid, and licorice root we were able to create the Alpha Glow Serum. Formulated to gently fade dark spots for an irritation-free glow. This Glowy Trinity our founder Sarah has created, is intentionally designed to be safe for sensitive melanin-rich skin. With the use of natural ingredients, we can deliver the best in organic skincare. The licorice root we use has been clinically proven to help soothe inflamed skin while at the same time delivering a more even complexion. Both kojic acid and alpha arbutin both work together to fight those dark spots. Kojic acid fades old dark spots without irritation and alpha arbutin works to prevent new ones from forming.

Your skin is more than the way it looks. It's your first line of defense, it represents you and is an outward expression of how you treat yourself. Start treating your skin like gold today. A decade from now you’ll be thanking yourself for starting young.
