Road to Retail: Glow Log 006 ✨
Hey glow-getters! It’s been a minute, but no need to worry – we’ve still been on our #ROADTORETAIL. Behind the scenes, I’ve been onboarding a new team and working on organizing our internal CRM so we can stay organized with our outreach.
In my personal life, I’m taking on more at my music job and recently stopped bartending (learn more about my life outside of Aurganics here). What this means is my schedule has been all over the place, and I have to rethink my workflow. My mentor, Vickie, has been helping me reprioritize and focus my energy to the things that matter. I want to share those priorities with you today!
In order of importance, my current priorities as AURGANICS’ founder are:
-
Secure 5 new wholesale partners (and their first orders)!
-
Build a determined, results-driven team
-
Become more confident with making content (by making more content)
Moment of transparency:
Okay, so let’s just take a minute to talk through my own personal WHY for a second.
I’ve never been able to pay myself through AURGANICS. Honestly, it’s never really been my goal or one of my priorities. My M.O. has always been my love for zero-to-one creation and the ability to have and lead a team, not the money payoff. I love creating, and I love that AURGANICS gives me the outlet to do so alongside a team of like-minded people. But I’m adulting, and real life is, in fact, real. Being on this #ROADTORETAIL allows us to push through inventory much faster and much more sustainably than continuing with the direct-to-consumer strategy (though we ARE continuing with that).
It's game time.
I want this Glow Log to mark the beginning of a new era. With my new personal and business priorities set, I’m looking at this retail journey a lot differently. It’s not just about the number of emails we have in the CRM, it’s about the number of PARTNERS we have. The number of estheticians that actually have Alpha Glow in their spas, who are actually using it in treatment, whether they’re a lead or we’ve already partnered.
From this moment on, I’m recommitting my energy to the things that truly matter to our goals. I’m done downplaying, and I’m done playing small. It’s game time.
To glowing and growing,
Sarah
