We all know every great business has a meaningful story behind it. Why did you start Indescribable Beauty?
"When I gave my life to God through that, I kind of, like, surrendered my business. I thought that I was gonna have to just get out of the beauty industry altogether. But he's like, no, we're just gonna rebrand. I'm gonna take over, you know, do things my way. And from that, I started to go holistic because before, I was doing a lot of chemical peels, very into just whatever was trending. I'm not even gonna hold you. So I was doing things to people's faces that I wouldn't like, and I felt so convicted by it. And I'm like, you know what? If I'm holistic and doing, like, things this way, I want my clients to experience that too."
Along your journey, you've worked with many different skincare brands. Why Aurganics?
"I saw you guys pop up on my Instagram, like, a few months ago when I was doing, like, my research, and I was like, oh, they're not in Florida. And I meant to reach out to you guys, but I didn’t, and I was just like, you know what? I just want to see. And I planned your. Your stuff was already in my cart. And then the following week, I got your message and was like, "Oh, it's meant to be." So we had our first meeting. I already knew, like, what you stood for. I knew your story. I knew everything. And I was just like, I want to do this because I see the results. The before-and-afters are really good. Your reviews were really good.

I didn't have a product like that that addressed high pigmentation and targeted women of color. Like, we do, like, vitamin Cs and niacinamides and things like that. But your cocktail is perfect, easy for my clients to use, and shows them the results. And it was something that I felt like I've been needing for some time."

What's your Alpha Glow story?

“Oh, I use it day and night. I do it before my makeup because I feel like it makes my skin look really glowy when I put it on. I have blended it with my foundation before. It doesn't mess up the consistency, and it still gives you, like, that nice glow.

But at night is probably my favorite. When you're locked into your skincare regimen, and I wash my face, then do my serum, my moisturizer, I'm a really simple girly when it comes to my skincare, but even with the serum, I can see the difference with my high pigmentations, especially, like, underneath my jaw and stuff like that. And I like the consistency, the milkiness of it.

What's your favorite way to use Alpha Glow?

"At night is probably my favorite. When you're locked into your skincare regimen, and I wash my face, then do my serum, my moisturizer, I'm a really simple girly when it comes to my skincare, but even with the serum, I can see the difference with my high pigmentations, especially, like, underneath my jaw and stuff like that."
Now, we want to get to know more about you! What's your go-to cafe order?
“Oh, I’m a matcha girly.”

“So I like the lavenders or the sweet pea matcha or strawberry matcha.”
When you're not at the spa or working, what do you like to do in your free time?
"I am hanging out with my family or friends. Looking for a cute place to eat. Definitely a foodie. Or trying to go to the beach if the weather permits."
We know skincare can be quite controversial. As a professional, what is your skincare hot take?
"My hot take is you don't need a million products. You just need a few, like staples of like products that work well for you. And stick with it, stick with the consistency of it. It's better that way than buying something for $100. That's not going to work. So with my clients, simple is best. And you keep up with your maintenance.

Talk to an esthetician before you go on TikTok. Yes, ask the questions. I'd rather you ask me a million questions than buy something that's trending on TikTok and just give yourself grace. Like, people with high pigmentation want to fix it so fast, and just let them know it's okay. It's going to take time. It's the journey. It took you 20 plus years to get those dark spots. It's not going to take 20 days to get rid of them for sure."
And this is one of our favorite questions: What's been on your playlist lately?
"Lately, it's been a lot of Christian rap. It's been doing something to me lately. Just geeting my flow together and just excited to get to work."

trivia time!

Looking back, what advice would you give to your younger glow-getter self?
"I guess my advice would still be to stand strong. Like, I was never that kid who did what the other girls were putting on their faces. I was very like, no thank you. And I, I want to tell her, like, that's okay. Like, nothing's wrong with you. Like, you're. You're gonna grow up and be that girl who takes care of other people's faces because you took care of your own."
As an esthetician, your job requires you to take care of so many people. What does a good self-care day look like for you?
"Oh, good self-care for me. Okay. I'm getting my matcha, I'm hitting up a thrift store, and I have my headphones, and I'm just zoning out. And then after that, I'm going to go to probably Fresh Kitchen or Cava to get something to eat, and then I'm going to be laid out by a pool or to the beach."
And for our last question: when you are feeling overwhelmed, what keeps you motivated?
"What keeps me motivated is reminding myself that my work is not about me—I'm here to serve. When I focus on pouring into my clients, I stay grounded. If I feel overwhelmed, it's usually because I'm relying too much on my own strength. Refocusing on serving others helps me regain perspective."
